Windows 10: Allow downloads from certain websites only

Hello,I am trying to set up policies on a standard account on my machine, running under Windows 11 Pro. I added a policy in the register editor to block all downloads from Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge setting DownloadRestrictions to 3 in the register editor. However, I would like to allow downloads only from certain websites; for example, I would like to allow downloads from outlook.com only.Is there a way to do that? I searched the web, and all I found was guides explaining how to block all downloads using group policy or register editor.Any help would be much appreciated.

  Websites is where you can turn on website restrictions for your child. You can choose to block or allow specific sites and to restrict websites rated beyond a certain age. If you have very young children, you can also
  choose to only allow them to visit websites you've decided are safe.

This was NOT helpful. According to this link http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-10/set-child-limits you are supposed to enable a feature to only see websites on the allowed list. I've copied the section and highlighted it below.

To set up website restrictions

  Select Websites, and switch Block inappropriate websites from
  Off to On.
  
  Now, adult content is blocked, InPrivate browsing is blocked, and BingSafeSearch is on.
  
• 
  If you want your child to only see websites that you've explicity allowed, check the box next to Only see websites on the allowed list.
  

This checkbox was there before, but now after upgrading to windows 10 it is MISSING.

Please re-enable that check box. ASAP!

 

Can't access certain websites in Win10

I appreciate your efforts and time.

• As I understand you are unable to access certain websites, what websites are you not able to access?
• Have you logged in with a Microsoft account or a local account?

I suggest you to try the steps below and check if it helps.

• Network troubleshooter. Either search for it in the Search or run it by following the link below.

• Try a different network adapter/connection type if possible.
• Check for Windows Updates.
• Check for drivers for the network adapter.
• Open a CMD window as Administrator:
  • dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth
  • sfc /scannow
  • netsh winsock reset

Also try to restart the DNS service.

• Press Windows Logo Key+X. Click on Run.
• Type services.msc. Click on Ok.
• Then find DNS client. Right-click on it to Stop it and Restart it.
