  1. 'Allow notifications to play sounds' option is locked, cannot disable

Since the update yesterday July 8th 2021 all notifications are playing sounds, and System sounds continues to unmute itself within the volume mixer.I searched a bit and found some potential solutions, but now I've run into a problem because the setting I'm suppose to disable is locked and cannot be disabled.Version 2004 OS Build 19041.1083 All updates installed, as far as I know.EDIT: As a streamer, random notifications from the system playing sound can be disruptive to my stream. And as a gamer, it's infuriating when I am distracted by a sound coming from the OS when I'm in a firefight in

    Notification sounds in lock screen

As the title says I would like certain apps to play sounds on the lock screen (like on andriod), I have been trying to figure out how, i can get it to display the notification on the lock screen but it doesn't play any sound.

    More Information

#1 The specific app is telegram.

    #2 Its on a surface pro 7.

#3 Telegram makes notification sound when not locked. I added telegram to run in background in "Background apps" windows settting and then in "Notifications & actions" i have set it to show notification on lock screen and to allow to play sounds, and then
switched Telegram on in "Get notification from these apps"

  3. Banner notifications and sounds not playing, but notifications show up in action center

    • Open the Mail app
    • If you haven't selected an account, select the one you want notification banners and sounds for.
    • Once you're in the mail view, click the gear icon in the bottom left to open the
      Settings menu.
    • Under settings, select Options.
    • Under these options, you should see a subsection named Notifications which allows you to check the
"Show a notification banner" and "Play a sound" options.

Yeah, thats not a solution she is interested in......I've suggested that course of action. Thanks though.

Just to clarify, I feel that there MUST be a step, or series of steps to turn off JUST the wireless notification sound. Thats what Im driving @ here.
