Windows 10: Allow wake timers setting missing

Discus and support Allow wake timers setting missing in Windows 10 Gaming to solve the problem; I occasionally find my Windows 10 laptop powered on when I get up and I'm sure I powered down before going to bed.     Allow wake timers setting missing


    I occasionally find my Windows 10 laptop powered on when I get up and I'm sure I powered down before going to bed. I don't leave the computer plugged in unless it is really low on battery so having it start up by itself runs the battery down somewhat. In searching for a solution many suggest going into power settings and turning off "allow wake timers" under sleep. I don't have that option and am wondering why and how to enable it.
