    Almost all executables contain shields.


    My PC got infected with the explorer.exe virus and was removed. After removing it some executable exe programs contained shields on icons, I tried formating the disk and installed new OS but still shields appear on executable icons. Even after unzipping the zipped exe file it automatically contain shield. However, not all executables contain shields. I tried in safe mode before and after Fresh new OS install and shields go away. How to get rid of those shields after installing new OS?? How to completely remove that shield. Shields has no impact on OS and installation of the executables. But be

    HotSpot Shield

    Hi thomlyons,

    To uninstall HotSpot Shield you need to disable the VPN profile first. If you don't know how, please contact HotSpot Shield support for assistance. Once you have disabled the VPN profile follow the steps below to uninstall the app.

    1. Go to the app list and look for HotSpot Shield.

    2. Touch and hold the app.



    3. Then tap uninstall.

    What is the Container folder and why is it missing?

    They have 5 steps listed? Can you not get the files they mention in step 5? I can't tell if Containers is the name of a Windows file or just an internal reference or what.
