Windows 10: Almost all of my icons have vanished :

Edit: Also tried creating a local admin account. It has the same problem.Some notes;Win 11one day it was perfectly fine, and now it seems to be unrecoverableSome apps have survived, but only when docked in the taskbar, such as Spotify, built in windows apps, and web apps.on desktop and file explorer the icons are completely missing, no icon at allthe apps that did not survive have the default exe icon.for some reason I am also unable to open the properties page of any affected app.I have done a full windows defender and Malwarebytes scan finding nothing.Things I have tried;Icon Display Setting

Desktop Icons vanished

Just to elaborate what Berton has told you..........that you are on Tablet Mode.
If it is what Berton has suggested, you can have your desktop back. Follow steps below................
Bottom right next to Time, there is a notification icon > click it > click Tablet mode.
You should have your desktop back.

Windows Security Center Icon vanished

Version 2004

Greetings people,

My Windows Security Centre Icon has vanished. Every time I boot it will appear for half a second then vanish and not return. I've run System File Checker and there are no errors. It's switched on in task bar settings.

Any suggestions?

Windows 10 has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with power. I would suggest you to run this troubleshooter to check if the issue is with your Power.

Refer these steps:

  Change the view by option on the top right to Large icons.

  Click on troubleshooting and click on the view all option on the left panel.

  Run the Power

Method 2: I suggest you to uninstall and Reinstall ACPI driver and check if it helps.

Follow the steps below.

  Press Windows + X, Select Device manager.
  
• 
  Click on Battery.

  Right click on ACPI driver.
  
• 
  Select uninstall and restart the system.
