Alt and right alt on my laptop HP don't work after update. I am rolling back the synaptics smbus driver, but it doesn't help for long.A day later, everything does not work again. It all started after I downloaded Windows 10 ltlc. please help me

ALT GR + @ not working

so i did everything on that list:

Answering everything on that list:

- Do not have remote dekstop

- Did not have hyper V to disable

- Did not have Synaptics to disable

- Language was put correctly

- I restarted CTFMON.EXE

- No updates required

- And tried the alternative keys (Since i have a Lenovo laptop & this would be happening more often)

Basically i've went through them all & nothing worked.

One note to add that my alt gr AT key does work everytime i restart my laptop, it works for like 3 seconds & then it stops working. No clue on why

 

Little Alt Code Utility

It does do that, mlee. All buttons have tooltips with the alt code and a description listed in it.

The masculine ordinal number in Spanish, Italian and Portugese? I'm not even sure what it is for ... lol

 

No Alt codes working

I've found that no alt codes appear to be working using either left or right alt keys. I tried a few things suggested by an answer to a similar question ( ALT Codes Not Working
) which has made absolutely no difference.

Other than Alt codes the alt buttons both work normally, likewise with the numpad.
