  1. ALT buttons permanently stuck, even after multiple restarts

The ALT buttons on my Windows 11 laptop keyboard appear to be permanently stuck. I restarted the laptop multiple times but the ALT keys remain stuck on the on-screen keyboard and the keyboard is entirely unresponsive so impossible to log in. I have tried to open using the on-screen keyboard and attached an external keyboard but no success, the ALT buttons appear permanently stuck. Currently locked out of my laptop, so any solutions appreciated

    :)

  2. Stuck on the Windows 10 Lock Screen. CTRL+ALT+DEL Not Responding

I have a user stuck on the Windows 10 lock screen. CTRL+ALT+DEL is enabled, but not responding. All he gets is a flash on the screen. We have tried multiple keyboards and I ran a startup repair, following steps 1 and 2 on https://www.addictivetips.com/windows-tips/ctrlaltdel-screen/. I still cannot get into the PC.

    Any suggestions?

  3. Kreij Win User
    Little Alt Code Utility

It does do that, mlee. All buttons have tooltips with the alt code and a description listed in it.

The masculine ordinal number in Spanish, Italian and Portugese? I'm not even sure what it is for ... lol

    Stuck in auto repair loop

    Hi Alex,

Thank you for posting your query on Microsoft Community.

If the screen is stuck for a long time on auto repair, I suggest you to restart the computer using power button and check. If the issue still persist, I suggest you to check if you are able to boot the computer into Safe Mode environment and check.

To use a Safe Boot option, follow these steps:

    • Restart your computer and start pressing the F8 key on your keyboard. On a computer that is configured for booting to multiple operating systems, you can press the F8 key when the Boot Menu appears.

    • Select an option to “Safe mode with networking” using the arrow keys on the keyboard when the Windows Advanced Options menu
      appears, and then press ENTER.

Hope this information is helpful. Do let us know if your issue is resolved. For any further query, feel free to contact us.

    Thank you.
