Windows 10: Alt-code list popup?

Has anyone ever found an alt code list that will pop up using a keyboard shortcut like holding down the Alt key? I'm not really happy with character map. Too much messing around. Using character map to insert characters changes fonts and font sizes that you have to go back and edit. All I want is an alt code list that will pop up using a keyboard combination. Seems like a reasonable thing for someone to have developed.Thanks,Dale Webb

It does do that, mlee. All buttons have tooltips with the alt code and a description listed in it.

The masculine ordinal number in Spanish, Italian and Portugese? I'm not even sure what it is for ... lol

I had originally thought of including all of the characters with accents and a lot of other special punctuation, but I was trying to keep the GUI small.
The intent of this app was for quick characters when forum posting and not a comprehensive list of all the possible alt codes.
I will give it some thought. Maybe a settings option so the GUI only displays the character sets that you need/want.

• Confirm which build is currently installed on your device. To check, follow the steps below:

1. Press Windows key + R, then type in winver.
2. Click OK.

• Were there any recent changes made prior to this issue?
• What is the make and model of your computer?
• Does the issue happens to all applications?
• Please check if the NumLock is turn on. Also, try using another keyboard and check if the Alt codes are working.
