Windows 10: Alt codes on num pad stopped working

Discus and support Alt codes on num pad stopped working in Windows 10 Gaming to solve the problem; Recently I discovered alt codes and they work and everything was fine.     Alt codes on num pad stopped working


    Recently I discovered alt codes and they work and everything was fine. A few hours later up to code 32 and some single ones like 190 just wouldn't work anymore or cause a different charchter to appear and I don't know what caused it.I already tried the solution from this reply but it didn't change anything.

    Alt codes not working

    As I said in my question, they were working, then they stopped. I am using an external keyboard with a separate number pad. The Alt codes do not work with EITHER the laptop keyboard or the external keyboard.

    My laptop has a full keyboard with a stand-alone numlock key, so the "Fn+num lock" combination is not necessary for my situation.

    Anyone else?

    You're supposed to be able to get special characters via the ALT + 4 num. pad. digits combination displayed for that character in the charmap utility. In previous versions of Windows, you could. Today W-10 was installed on my computer, and when I tried
    to enter one (Latin small letter e with acute accent, used to be ALT + num. pad 0233), all it did was dim my screen!
