Windows 10: Alt Gr Key and Missing Euro Character

I used to use the AltGr key and the 4 key which would produce the Euro sign, which is shown on the 4 key bottom right. Just as Shift + 4 = $ symbol. Now AltGR + 4 produces a superscript 4 as here ⁴.I've been trawling through the settings but haven't spotted anything that will change it back.I'm using a Surface Laptop 3.

ALT + GR not working as intended

Cannot type the "{" and "[" character. Which is typed by Holding down "ALT GR + 7" and "ALT GR + 8" Key.

However typing "7" and "8" individually is no problem.

Also typing "@" which is achieved by holding ALT GR + Q works just fine aswell. Meaning every single key works individually.

Funnily enough typing with the on Screen Keyboard works aswell for every other combination except for "ALT GR + 7" and "ALT GR + 8"

The alt gr key will only work on some of the character can somebody help me

 

ALT GR + 0 to 8 makes my window deselect, how to fix?

I haven't a clue about the gr in the question but click Start, scroll down the list to the W section, look in it for Windows Accessories then for the Character Map, has a lot of choices in it. Some Notebooks/Laptops don't have the Number Pad/Key Pad but may have a combination of keys to get the functions of the Number Pad, have to check the manual.
