good day, when i press alt, it sometimes get bugged and feels like the alt is stucked. It makes the keyboard have different functions just like when pressing ctrl. It isn't a hardware problem since even in different keyboard its still like this. Anybody knows a solution to this problem? TYIA

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.

Step 1: You may check if the ALT key is functioning correctly in on-screen keyboard. It will help us to verify if there is any issue with the keyboard.

Follow the steps below to open On-screen Keyboard.

  Windows + Q, type OSK (on-screen keyboard)
  
• 
  And check if it works
  

Step 2: Run Hardware and device Troubleshooter.

Windows 10 has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with hardware and devices. I would suggest you to run this troubleshooter to check if the issue is with your devices. Refer these steps:

• 
  Press Windows key +X, select Control panel.
  
• 
  Change the view by option on the top right to Large icons.
  
• 
  Click on troubleshooting and click on the view all option on the left panel.
  
• 
  Run the Hardware and devices troubleshooter.

No keyboard option on troubleshoot & Alt key is stuck



There is no keyboard option on my troubleshoot and my alt key keeps on getting stuck after some screen time. For more info I am using ROG Strix G15 listed below are the things that I done to try and fix the problem

1. Tried updating all of the keyboard driver in device manager (didn't worked)
2. Tried updating the bios (didn't worked)
3. Tried to troubleshoot keyboard (but no keyboard option on my troubleshoot as seen on the picture)
4. Used keyboard tester online and detected that my right alt key is stuck
4.1 tried to clean it (didn't worked)
4.2 installed Power Toy by Microsoft to disable the key and used external keyboard ( worked but after sometime of use alt key is again stuck and upon checking different keyboard tester no alt key is detected on being used - which I think is worse since alt function is still working but is not detected on the keyboard tester)
5. Tried to reset the laptop (didn't worked)

Do anyone has a solution to this or experienced this same problem? Thank you in advance!
