Windows 10: Alt+S Suddenly Causes Screen Capture

Hi,In Windows 11, I used to use Alt + S to as a short cut button in MS Outlook to Send a message.It suddenly now causes some form of Screen Capture function with cross hair arrows and RGB notations. And it does this every time I press Alt + S, not just in Outlook.Could you help to disable this?Thanks,Andre

Upon checking on your concern, we have found a suggestion that may help you take a screenshot of the dropdown menu using the Snipping tool. Please follow the steps below:

• Launch Snipping tool.
• Right-click the menu you wish to take a screenshot.
• Press CTRL + Fn+ Print Scrn.
• Once you've already taken the print screen of the menu, you may try using the snipping tool and check if it will be able to capture the drop down menu.

Alt-Print Screen Captures Active Screen But With 2" Black Margin on the Right.

After performing the steps you suggested, I still had the same issue using the "Alt-Print Screen" keys. However, in the process I learned how to better use the Windows Snipping tool to accomplish my objective. It just takes more key strokes.

A friend told me Microsoft wants to discourage users from using the "Alt-Print Screen" keys and to use the Snipping tool instead. I'm not sure I buy that because the "Alt-Print Screen" feature works perfectly for me on other computers.
