Windows 10: Alt Tab is not working like it used to.

    Alt Tab is not working like it used to.


    Occasionally, if I try to press alt + tab, it will not work and it will act like I only pressed tab. I am using Windows 11, version 22H2 Insider Preview 10.0.22598.100, but this has happened for at least 2 months already. After a dozen minutes or so, it will start working again as it is supposed to. Both of my alt keys work, because once this happened in Microsoft world I was still able to use the alt key to do short cuts, but just not alt tab.

    *Confused Alt Tab is not working like it used to. :confused: I can alt tab back even if i don't have another program to switch too.

    alt + tab not working

    Alt-Tabbing in & out of games does not always work. It can also crash games in some cases.

    Alt+Tab only works if there is something in the background to switch to. If there is nothing to switch to (the game that has focus is the only thing running), the command isn't executed.
