  1. ALT0140 does not produce the french character: linked o-e, in US-international keyboard

My keyboard is a us-international model. I need to print the french character o-e linked from the french alphabet. Internet sites all define the simultaneous ALT 0140 or ALT 0156 using the right side ALT key to produce such character. But this does not work. The result for 0140 is ’¡¤’ and for Alt 0156 is’¡€¼. I tested with two keyboards of the same model, and the result is the same. Is there any other way to produce such character?

    :)

  2. Strange behavior for grave accent with french canadian keyboard

On a "normal" french keyboard one can do a grave accent (è) by pressing ` then e, with the standard french canadian keyboard, which I have selected.

With my laptop (a 2012 ASUS with Win10) pressing the ` key produces no effect; up to now I have been doing è by doing ALT+0232.

I noticed something strange however; holding ` produces a string of those characters, like so:

Then, if I hold the key again, it produces a string of 'è' characters, like so:

What is going on? All other accents work fine.

Keyboard definitions are missing in French version of Win10.

Here you go, roll your own with the Microsoft Keyboard Layout Creator.....

ALT0140 does not produce the french character: linked o-e, in US-international keyboard

    FRENCH KEYBOARD

    Hello everyone,

I want to type French on my laptop so I changed my keyboard to FR (AZERTY). The problem is that I can't type these letters: â, ê, ô,... because everytime I press ^ (if we want to type these letters, we need to press ^ and then a, e, o,...), it becomes ^^
instead of ^. I also tried with the US international keyboard but it still doesn't work: ' becomes '' and ^ becomes ^^ (which means I can't type the letters I want).

    Thank you guys so much!
