Windows 10: Alternative to AutoHotKey to prevent duplicate key press

I am having a problem with my keyboard where it is repeating the E key when I type it. I type once and it gives ee. I've tried AutoHotKey but it is missing some of the key strokes. Is there an alternative that would do the same? I know windows has a built in function for that, but it prevents ALL keys repeats, so when I keep backspace pressed it won't work.

And you can find such lists using e.g. Google of course...

Then any given program may have its own hot keys of course.

And many such can be reprogrammed using 3rd party utilities or e.g. Autohotkey (free).

 

Booting without press any key

@dhievm go ahead and list the model number that gives exact specs/info.


Does it stop right at the Toshiba logo and sit there? Will it sit forever til you press a key, or will it eventually work after so long?

 

Windows Live Mail duplicate contacts

I understand that there are duplicate contacts in Windows Live Mail and I will be happy to answer your query.

I suggest you to follow the steps below to do a cleanup of contacts that are duplicated.

• Open your Live Mail.
• Click Contacts on the lower left corner of your page.
• Click Clean up contacts on the Home Tab before your name, this will lead you to connect on your web page account.
• Click Save.

Alternate way to clean the duplicates.

• Sign in to
  http://people.live.com.
• Click Manage towards the top.
• Click Clean up contacts.
• Click Save and continue button.
