Windows 10: Alternative to Media Player for photos?

Hello!I'm trying to access and view photos from my other pc which is considered a 'Media device'. I can only open this with Media Player, but it's not very convenient. It hangs, it opens images as if they're videos, there's no preview pane and whenever I open an image, the program's browser closes itself and I have to click 'switch to library' in an image to get it to open again.Is there anything else I could use to open the media device? Maybe browse the images using the file explorer in some way? Or perhaps someone knows of a third party alternative that is compatible with images? I'd love t

Alternative to Media player in Win 10

What are you trying to do? If it's just play/display them Windows Photo App or Windows Photo Viewer will do it.
VLC Media Player is a good alternative to Windows Media Player.

I have a lot of photo discs made from 2000 to 2009 mainly when I used XP.or win7
They will Jpegs or similar ,
Some on CD's others DVD's.
Can anyone help by suggesting an Alternative to windows media Player

Have you tried running the troubleshooter for WMP? If not, we suggest that you try to run the troubleshooter and
see if it helps. To run the troubleshooter, follow these steps:

• 
  On the search bar, type
  Troubleshooting.
  
• 
  Click on
  Programs.
  
• 
  Under
  Media
  Player, click on
  Windows Media Player Settings
  and
  Windows Media Player Library.
