Discus and support Alternative to Media player in Win 10 in Windows 10 Installation and Upgrade to solve the problem; I have a lot of photo discs made from 2000 to 2009 mainly when I used XP.or win7 They will Jpegs or similar , Some on CD's others DVD's.     I have a lot of photo discs made from 2000 to 2009 mainly when I used XP.or win7

    MS “improved” Windows 10 by removing Media player (“improved”? sure, they don’t have to pay the licensing fee for it). Here are some alternatives and a way some people can get the original media player back

    Personally, I have switched to free VLC player.

    What are you trying to do? If it's just play/display them Windows Photo App or Windows Photo Viewer will do it.
    VLC Media Player is a good alternative to Windows Media Player.
