I have an ASUS model laptop which I confirmed at ASUS costumer support that it does indeed support HDR! It is with an OLED screen OLED 15.6' FHD GL WV EDP BC3 MP SP2. I bought the notebook as FreeDOS! Windows setting says HDR unsupported! I have install an official display driver with HDR certificate via installation wizard downloaded from official ASUS site! Windows, drivers and BIOS is uptodate! The notebook has just an integrated AMD graphics! Anyway to get HDR support??

    :)

  2. HDR not supported

    Hello William3241,

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

Let me help you solve the problem of not supporting HDR.

Your two monitors originally supported HDR, but the problem occurred after updating the system, right?

If the problem occurred after the update, it may be caused by the incompatibility of the monitor driver or graphics card driver with the latest system.

You can consult the manufacturer of the device, whether the current monitor and graphics card drivers support HDR function, if not, please replace the supported drivers.

If the driver supports the HDR function, the system still prompts unsupported, then I recommend that you uninstall the latest update to see if it can be resolved.

Open Settings > click Windows Update > Update history> Uninstall Updates > click the update you want to uninstall > click the "Uninstall" button above.

In addition, the following link is to a support document I found for HDR setup in Windows that you can learn about.

If there is anything not clear, please do not hesitate to let me know.

  3. HDR is not supported

I can only suggest you contact Lenovo support to verify which driver package you should be using so that HDR is enabled for this device.

    HDR support for windows 11

Hi Nadeem. I'm Greg, 10 years awarded Windows MVP, here to help you.

I would contact LG Support which is included with the monitor purchase for at least the first year, during which they must get it working properly or repair or replace it under warranty.

Try these troubleshooting steps for HDR monitor display in Windows 11:

Report back results for each step so I know what else to suggest.

Feel free to ask back any questions. Based on the results you post back I may have other suggestions if necessary.
