Windows 10: Always show entire date in Teams chat history

I prefer to use international date format for my system yyyy/mm/dd as it makes sense.However, what this means is that in Teams, it will shorten chat history dates to mm/dd; which I don't like.What I'd like is for either it to use the full date at all times like it does for messages from last year or earlier, even for chat histories from the current year, or some way of fooling it to use dd/mm.

Microsoft teams chat date is busted

Hello,

i have a problem with microsoft teams, where the chat date is wrong set. It is showed with an hour behind, so at first i thought it was an issu with time zone. I checked in settings but it was ok, and also if i try to open a new teams meeting in the calendar,
the time zone is correct.

i tried also to check the windows OS time zone that is correct, but seems not inherited by teams. Also tried to reinstall teams, o reset eliminating the folder in user approaming path.

Can you give me tips about this issu ?

Normally when you get this error, you should confirm first using teams on the web to see if there is nothing wrong with your account. Please use this link to do so. https://teams.microsoft.com/, also check your network connection.

After confirming that everything is fine from there, I would suggest you to clear your teams cache using this steps.

• Log out of teams
  

• Quit Microsoft Teams. Right-click the icon and select Quit.
  
• Cut and paste the following location into File Explorer: %appdata%\Microsoft\Teams
  
• Delete the contents of the entire folder.
  
• Restart Microsoft Team
  
• Login again.
  

After that sign in first using your education account.
