Windows 10: Am logged in on my account, device is added, yet the game i bought i cant download? worked...

I bought a game on the wrong account. How do I download it to a family device?

I have 2 microsoft accounts, and bought a game on the wrong account. I don't want to log into the wrong account on my PC - I want to just download the game on my other accounts device (The only device on the 3 family accounts on the microsoft site - SINCE
WE CANNOT MERGE ACCOUNTS).

2 hours later... and 1823 posts read that haven't helped... can someone please transfer the game to my ADMIN account in family OR let me choose a family device as my device on the account I purchased the game on??

I have zero patience left for this lunacy.

 

Can't Download Game I Bought

Hey. My device is linked to my microsoft account (gaming laptop). I don't have an XBox, I just want to download The Outer Worlds so I can play it when it comes out. I bought the game- and everything went fine on the transaction end of things- but when I
try to install it, it says I have no applicable devices linked to my account to download it on.

I signed on with my microsoft account, logged in, verified everything, downloaded the latest verion of microsoft, everything. It just won't work and I'm getting frustrated. I just want to install the damn game.

Yes I am signed in to my account on this PC.

When trying to download a game from the Microsoft store it said there were no applicable devices linked to your Microsoft account.

Despite my PC being listed as a device when I checked it still wouldn't let me install it.

I removed it as a device and tried re-adding it but that's when the message I listed in the original post comes up.

I tried waiting a few hours as I only just got Microsoft game pass.

Not sure what to do now to be honest
