Am on windows 11. I am unable to hear guitar being played on the meet call by my teacher. Please help

Windows 11 - People can hear me speak but can NOT hear my guitar

Now that I am using Windows 11, there seems to be a huge issue on both Zoom and Skype. My guitar teacher and I can hear each other speak but neither of us can hear the guitars.

I have a feeling that this is a built in issue with Windows 11 that can't be fixed.

When I had my Lenovo on Windows 10, I could talk to my guitar teacher via Zoom or Skype and we could hear each other's guitars.

When I bought my Acer on Windows 11, we could only hear each others voices but not the guitars

I turned off noise suppression on Skype, Zoom and I believe on Windows 11 yet.... here we are. My voice is clear, my guitar sounds muffled.

I am using the internal microphone.

Please help. This is driving me crazy (Although it's a short drive)

Windows 11 mic recording speaking voice but not musical instruments.

Why do I feel like I am "Patient Zero?" When I bought my Acer with Windows 11 back in October, I experienced this same issue immediately. My guitar teacher and I could hear each other speak, but neither of us could hear each other's guitar. I searched for posts and no one had experienced this..... until now. There MUST BE something built into Windows 11....I was told that it was in response to people who use virtual platforms and want to eliminate background noise....crying babies, barking dogs, etc, etc

Obviously, this is a huge glitch. And to be clear, I tried Skype and Zoom.

The ONLY suggestion I was given was to install Windows 10.

Instead, for now, I use my wife's computer for my lessons. The real problem will be when "everyone" has Windows 11.

If anyone found a solution....other than throwing the computer out the window.... please let me know.

BTW....My guitar playing is so bad that it is possibly a good thing my teacher can't hear me play
