Windows 10: Am resetting my W10 Lenovo desktop

Am in the process of resetting my W10 Lenovo desktop as I type Am using my old W7 to use Comm'Support to do t his . Simple Q= Do I keep the USB in the drive whilst it is resetting? Or do I take it out b4 it completes? thanks

Suggestions For Light Gaming W10 Desktop

Out of the blue a family member casually asked me to find them a cheap desktop to replace their 6 y/o HP Enve M6 laptop with AMD A10-4600m. My response was to drive up to Microcenter and then install W10 and the purchased 850 EVO SSD into their laptop.

Don't expect the budget here will allow building anything from scratch. I have no parts to contribute to this build and would have to buy everything. I'm mostly looking for suggestions for pre-made options that could be found on the used market. If you have a better idea please feel free to expand upon it. Very open to ideas and have some time to make this happen now that the laptop is usable. Gaming is pretty far from my bailiwick and I've seen some stellar budget builds ideas here in the past. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Rough idea of specs

• Intel i5 4590 or AMD equivalent
• 8 GB RAM
• HDMI on MB or through discrete GPU
• Capable of playing a modern game at lower settings
• Fairly cool and power efficient
• Couple hundred dollars max
• Stable

on most lenovo models iv seen you have to take off the rear access panel and short a jumper power on the system wait for the clear code and reset the jumper.

 

Drivers do not work by upgrading to W10 in Lenovo Z470 W7

I updated to W7 a Lenovo Z470 laptop. Now, many drivers (bluetooth, speakers, camera, etc.) do not work. System tells that those drivers and programs cannot run in W10 because they are not compatible.

I checked the website of Lenovo and this model is not listed as supported systems for Windows 10 Upgrade.

I read some answers in the forum and tried to install the driver again with the option of compatibility with windows 7 (properties; compatible..) but it keeps failing to work in W10.

¿Is there another change to update the driver and get everything running in W10?

¿Can Microsoft support this model to keep W10?

¿Should I go back to W7?
