Windows 10: AMAZON SHOPPING APP

I recently got my hp laptop envy reformatted... so i think the preloaded apps also get deleted in this process....I have downloaded all the necessary apps but the only app i cant find is the amazon shopping app... not amazon appstore, the amazon shopping app! I am talking about this:I dont think for toshiba and all used to come earlier, but whatever it is... it doesnt show the install option..idk what the reason is... PLS HELP!Moved from Microsoft 365 and Office to Windows 10

A quick update: The Mango update of the Amazon app has now been released, so go grab the app to get the pinning functionality.



Here are the updates in v1.5:

• Scan It: use your device camera to scan a barcode to check prices and availability.
• Pin barcode scan to Live tile: From Start screen, click to instantly open barcode scan tool and search for products.
• Fast application switching: switch from Amazon Mobile to other apps then return to where you left off.
• We hate bugs as much as you do (so we fixed a bunch)

Phone: Samsung Focus v1.3, WP7.5 Mango



I am very puzzled by this. When using the Bing visual search on CDs and books, everyime the product link will be sent to eBay (not installed, thus prompting download), with not mention of amazon's shopping app (already installed).



Then I tried to duplicate what is in this video with XBox 360



Guess what, still no link to amazon app. Just eBay and WPCentral (a WP7 blog site, really?)



Is the Mango on my phone somehow corrupted?



Is there a setting we can adjust, pick which type of links send to which app?



Very puzzled, though not a big deal, but would like to see the Bing serach works as advertised.



Apperciate any helps or insights.

Thanks. That is kind of my thoughts as well. After look closely at the current version of amazon shopping, it probably is not using the correct API to receive the data.



But still a bit disappointed that the things are lacking behind. I think many people, like me, will just be confused why Bing is not working as in the demo.
