Windows 10: ambir ps667-5 driver issue

i'm trying to connect my driver ambir ps667-5 card copier to my computer surface laptop go 2, windows 11, but I am repeatedly hit with the same error: it says that the drivers for my device aren't installed Code 28 and that there are no compatible drivers for my device. it also tells me to click "update driver" and when i do it gives me the option to "search automatically for drivers", but then when i click it it says that "windows could not find drivers for your device". i also go to bluetooth and devices on my computer, and it says my driver can't connect. i've tried resetting my compu

I have upgraded to windows 10 and now trying to install a ambir ps667-3 card scanner. windows tells me it can not find the driver for my scanner and I need to go on the manufacturer's website to get it, so I go on www.ambir.com and find the driver's that
says it goes with windows 10 64bit and then try to download it. it looks as if it download's correctly and fully but when I go to click on it and hit run it then tells me that it cannot install the driver because it has been deleted, it does this every time,
why does windows keep deleting my driver installation? and keeps telling me that it cant find a driver for my scanner. It did this with windows 7 as well and that's when I updated everything hoping to fix it. Thank you in advance!

 

How to I erase all traces of a bad driver

It is an Ambir PS667-3.

Unless I'm missing something, the software you are suggesting appears to only be for display, sound, and mouse drivers.

As a work around, I suggest you to install the drivers in compatibility mode for Windows 7 and check if it helps.

Run the program in the compatibility mode.



If a program or driver written for an earlier version of Windows doesn't run properly in current Windows, then you could try using
compatibility mode on the program to hopefully allow it to run properly.

I suggest you to run the program/game in the compatibility mode and check if it helps. Follow the below steps:

  Right click on the program icon, click on
  Properties.
  
• 
  Click the Compatibility tab.
  
• 
  Check the Run this program in compatibility mode for box and select the Preferred
  Windows.
  
• 
  Click on Apply and click
  OK button.
