    AMD 9590 not getting along with install DRAM


    I have read reports of the AMD 9590 not getting along with installed DRAM. That is DDR3 “sticks” that are on the ASUS approved list for a given motherboard. Is this true? I have no real complaints against my 9590 but I do have a chronic frescoing problem (my wonderful iOS 13.3 spell check decided freezing wasn’t right) I cannot track down, and this 9590 problem (?) is listed as one of the causes. There is so much mystical info out there on PC troubles it is hard to believe any of it.

    I presently have ADATA USA XPG V1.0 OC Series 16GB (8gb X 2 ) 1600mHz installed.

    could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

    That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

    At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.
