Windows 10: amd catalyst and win update

hello
I am having a problem updating my graphic card .the catalyst manager keeps telling me I have an update so I install the update reboot .but it goes back to the old driver and the manager keeps telling me I have a update . Is there a thread in here for a fix? somethings messed up with windows update . I have tried to uninstall the device and update but that wont work either .It is stuck on driver 15.200.1062.1004 amd 5800k. thanks

Windows 10 sound but video

I tried the above steps but it did not help. I have an AMD Radeon HD6410D card and this is not apparently supported by Win 10. When I updated using my AMD catalyst install manager (version 08.00.0916) right after my transition from Win 7 to Win 10) everything
was updated except the driver package. I have a 64 bit system. According to the install report from AMD Catalyst, it said that the "specified driver package was not installed for matching devices." My existing driver is 15.200.1045.1 dated 7-7-15. My system
states its the most current driver consistent, with similar notice provided on the AMD website driver update page. AMD catalyst will notify me notify me that a driver update is available when I initiate it (version 15.7.1 for WIN 10-64 bit machine) but further
inquiry at the AMD website under download specifications for 15.7.1, my Radeon HD6410D card is
not listed. Not sure if there is a workaround but would appreciate additional input.

When i first bought the cpu,it has amd catalyst drivers and windows 7.I tried updating my windows 7 to windows 10 and my catalyst driver to radeon drivers.I had a tread stuck in device driver problem after i updated to win 10.

I finally managed to stop this problem by switching to amd catalyst driver .After 2-3 months,this happened.

in Manual selection make sure you look for APU driver and choose one that's appropriate for yours.



After clicking on "Display results" you'll see drivers offered to DL and install.

 

a bit complicated if I'm reading it right it
looks like no updates for my apu they offer a AMD Radeon Software Crimson Edition 16.2.1 Beta Driver
should I install that if my total war rome 2 game is hard freezing ? I will just ask the forums in total war . thanks a lot *Smile

 

I would uninstall old drivers first using DDU Display Driver Uninstaller Download version 17.0.8.2 before installing driver recommended by AMD.
