Windows 10: AMD graphic card problem (Probook 4540s)

Hi,

I have problem with AMD driver in this laptop (Probook 4540s). I tried many drivers, but it was useless. My problem is I cannot configure switchable graphic card. Installer tells me everything is OK, but it look like only the Control center is installed.
(Windows 10, 64bit)

Update broke my dedicated graphic card driver

Hi,

I have Probook 4540s with Radeon 7650m.

Recent driver update total broke my graphic card driver. Every time when Windows Update tries to install this update it stuck whole system and after restart (and initial boot) it causes black screen. (Without cursor)

I tried reinstall whole OS, install drivers form AMD, from HP, from unofficial developer, install driver with compatibility mode etc. nothing helped.

 

Low battery life, windows 10

after upgrading windows 10, i have installed all display and graphics driver which are recommended for me. at windows 10 i face some problems like

1.low battery back-up

2.laptop becomes hot within a short time.

solution please.

I figure it out !

• Uninstall Intel and AMD drivers via http://www.guru3d.com/files-details/...-download.html
• Run MS Update and let it install Intel and AMD driver. (Win key + R and type in ms-settings:windowsupdate )
• Restart
• Install AMD driver from http://h20564.www2.hp.com/hpsc/swd/p...&swEnvOid=4192 (SP72377)

This solution worked on my model of laptop. If you have different you can tried it too. But remember to choose right driver for your laptop.
