    AMD High Definition Audio Device Not Plugged In

    John,

    Thanks for your suggestion, but the sound playback device was greyed out again this morning and reads: "AMD High Definition Audio Device Not Plugged In".

    Once again, uninstalling AMD High Definition Audio Device and deleting the driver in the Device Manager and rebooting brought the sound device back.

    Any other ideas?

    Windows 10 - no sound HDMI - Advanced Micro Devices - Audio Device - AMD High Definition Audio Device - Error 0x800f0203

    Hello I have windows 10 and I have a problem with the HDMI cable. When I had windows 8 I could connect the HDMI to my TV and the sound on the TV would work. But now when I connect the HDMI no sound coming out of the TV.

    I searched for updates but then I received this error - Advanced Micro Devices - Audio Device - AMD High Definition Audio Device - Error 0x800f0203

    Please if anyone can help me and tell me what to do.
