Windows 10: AMD Radeon Pro Software removed by windows updates!!

Hi folks. As per the title it appears that Windows updates have removed the AMD software and relaced it with their own version!!! I,ve come across this by way of editing RAW files in Photoshop.When Imuse Photoshop Camera RAW every now and then I get the message "graphics processor has encountered an unrecoverable error" and stops RAW editing from working. I have seen comments that suggest Ishould update my AMD drivers BUT I cannot do this with the correct ones because Windows update has removed them.!! This is causing me prolems in my workflow. After many users reporting the same issue after AMD Windows 10 Nov 2017 update where rolling back driver was not working we found the steps to resolve this for all of them at https://www.tenforums.com/graphic-c...00-not-working-after-windows-10-update-2.html

Extracted steps from this article and post by psylocyble/jcorallo:

• Device Manager
• Display Adapters and right click on your installed adapter
• Choose Update Driver
• "Browse my computer for driver software"
• Click "Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer"
• In the list choose an older driver and click Next

In our case it was the 2015 driver which resolved the issue for most users.

Microsoft or ATI/AMD have made an major mistake in releasing these updates as we have received many calls in the last 3 working days from clients, for some reason is using Microsoft generic drivers instead after the update.

Cant Open AMD radeon software

Cant Open AMD radeon software i was recentky updateing AMD radeon software when i got a error code and said the update couldnt be complete so i closed the program and now it will never open again even on a differnt user on the PC
