Windows 10: Amoei Backupper ......

I am using the link above trying to install Aomei Backupper.

Both download sites, CNET or Local, show this .....................


And I clicked Delete.

I am using IE11.

Cloning a SSD Drive

Downloaded and Installed AOMEI Backupper as suggested. Reading the instructions at the AMOEI site as to how to use the Cloning feature does make it look real easy and simple.....

When you open AMOEI the Clone Feature has a LOCK on it. When you click on CLONE a page open instructing you that you must Post a "Like" Text on a Social Media Page you are subscribed to before the Clone feature will be unlocked. Choices were Google, FaceBook
and Twitter. The instructions were to post the text on your Social media Site and then enter that sites URL in the Block in AMOEI and cloning would be Unlocked. I copied the suggested Text, went to my FaceBook site, pasted the text on my Board and clicked
share with all my Friends. I then pasted that FaceBook URL in AOMEI as directed and it came back it couldn't find the "KeyWord".....and cloning is still Locked.

Is this what you had to go thru to use the Cloning feature of AMOEI? I have not figured out what I have done wrong. Right now my FaceBook page shows the required AOMEO Text and I have shared it with all my friends....so I have done what seems to be required.....AOMEI
is getting advertising......and I have nothing. If I can't get this figured out I will go back and post an entry on my facebook page advising my friends...the AMOEI BackUpper may be easy to use.....but the problem is, you cannot use the Cloning feature and
this is not disclosed to you until after you have installed MOEI. I really was looking forward to Cloning my New SDD drive and have it running in my PC...but all I have is an installed AMOEI with the Clone feature....Locked...and, I have given them some free
advertising.

 

how to copy one bootable windows system to a new hard drive and make the new drive bootable in windows 10

NO !!! Windows 10 will not copy system drive onto another fresh clean hard drive..

did this 11 times and give up used 5 different programs. amoei backupper for one

windows 10 pro upon boot up after copying onto a fresh hard drive during boot up

windows says " inaccessible boot device" windows will restart

every time got this same message

there was no boot device i can't get windows to copy the boot device to the new hard drive.

all i wanted to do was copy from 1 system drive to a formatted fresh clean hard drive

windows system boot drive typically drive c onto a fresh clean hard drive.

windows WON'T DO IT.. kept saying " inaccessible boot device"

GUESS i'm too OLD to know how to do this or i'm just technologically STUPID.........

hard drive is mbr

amoei was only a trial it will not clone in a trial basis to do what i want you had to buy it

acronis true image 2015 will not restore the boot in windows even when it was a direct restore

from the original windows operating system..

No. Direct download link produces the same corrupt message.

I always save the exe files to my Downloads folder first before running the installation.
This one, I can't even do that.

I have no 3rd party AV that could interfere with the program being downloaded. Never had.
Just WD and free edition Malwarebytes.

 

disable Malwarebytes for the time being...

that link should pop-up the IE download box on bottom of IE and save to your default downloads location.. as always with IE downloads

 

My Malwarebytes does not run until I open it.
How is it possible that it blocks the download while it is dormant ?
I don't think there is a disable option for the free edition except to uninstall it.

It won't save to Downloads folder because it won't finish downloading.

MBAM Free is only a manual, on-demand scanner.
There is no realtime protection.
So, there is no realtime protection to disable.

MBAM Free cannot be blocking the download.

Just tested the download

Although the exe is in my downloads folder..
it uses SH1 security certificate, not sure IE allows that anymore

 

It is obvious the problem is in my end.
Thing is, I have had installed untold numbers of programs and I always use Save As to save the exe files to Downloads folder.
It never failed, until now.

That is exactly what I saw when I opened the View download option.
I don't think the download was actually present in Downloads folder. I clicked the Delete button in a flash.

 

it is there, just do not click delete..

the issue is on my end too..

You have no problem probably because you are using Win 7.

 

OK. Did another download. Same corrupt message. Did not click Delete.
The exe file is in fact in my Downloads folder.

BUT, is it save to run the exe file ?
