Windows 10: Ampersand key is not working

I tried to sign in to a site, and found, like others that what came up was ".

I can not get signing in to usual websites. Every week there seems to be a problem to sort.

I did not change any settings, so what is going on with Microsoft?

Why are most questions out of date, or closed?
