    After the security update on 30/10/20 I can't install a computer game I own on a disc. I always get the message an administrator has blocked you from running this app windows 10 and I really need you to fix this. I was going to have a nice Sunday playing a game but ended up spending hours trying everything to fix this problem.

    I really need this to be fixed. This had completely ruined my day... I don't understand why mistakes like these are made in your updates and also why I can't uninstall the security update that is causing this problem. I've been playing this game for years and it has never been a problem until I was going to play it today.

    It would be appreciated if this could be fixed quickly...

    I am trying out this 'getprivate' software and it installed correctly. When it run for first time it has no problem. when I close the windows, next time I launch it, it won't open, a window pop up, 'an administrator has blocked your from this app.

    I did some research on web about this error. I tried turned off user control, change user type from administrator to limited. still doing the same.



    any suggestions??

    App Blocked by administrator

    I cannot open MYOB, a message comes up that the app has been blocked for my protection. It says to contact the administrator. All help suggestions show sections that do not show up on my control panel

    I suggest you to follow the below steps and check if it helps:

    • Log in to https://familysafety.microsoft.com/ using your Microsoft Email account.
    • Find the user that is correspond to the computer account on the Windows that you are having issue with.
    • Click on "App Restrictions".
    • Under App Restrictions, click on "App list".
    • Here, you can Allow or Block the Apps/Games that you want.
