When I turn on my computer, I get an annoying photo not of my choice come onto the screen before I sign in. How do I get rid of it and replace it with a photo of my choosing from my pictures folder?

    Hi Kenneth,

To address this concern, we suggest that you follow these steps on how to change your profile picture on sign-in screen in Windows 10:

    • Press the Windows key, then click your account at the top of
      Start menu.
    • Click Change account settings.
    • Under your account name, you will see a circle then click the Browse button to choose a photo you want to set as profile picture.

Let us know if you need further assistance.

    Thank you.

  3. Desk top Icons replaced by start menu

    Hello,

We appreciate your persistent patience n this issue.

At this point, I suggest you to check if the same issue occurs when logged in through a different Local Administrator user account.

    Follow the steps:

    • Assuming that you are already logged on to your user account in Windows 10, click the Start button.
    • From the Start menu, click your name from the top of the left pane.
    • From the displayed options click Sign out.
    • From the login screen, click to the different user account you want to switch to.

However, if you do not have a separate user account, I suggest you to create another administrator user account by referring to the Microsoft article here: Set
    up accounts
    .

Kindly keep us posted on the status of the issue.

    Thank You.

Unable to Locate Pictures and Desk-top Icons after the Windows 10 'Upgrade'

After the Windows 10 update performed a lobotomy on my desk-top computer, I cannot find the thousands of pictures on my hard-drive when I click on "Pictures" on "This PC". How can I recover them? Also, there were dozens of documents on my desk-top before
the lobotomy- they are now gone. How do I recover them and replace them on my desk-top? Please help! Thank you!
