Windows 10: An answer may still be helpful, but thread is locked

Im hoping it is possible to get a response to a user of this community, that had a desperate need for help within the Windows community here with a bricked laptop. He had believed and community confirmed his worst case scenario that the update he had installed had nuked his motherboard ~ and the end advice he recieved was that if a PC he would and intended to replace his Motherboard if a laptop, consider it bricked and replace entire machine. Not every issue of course or experience is going to be the same, but I have been through many issues similar throughout participating in the Canary C

LOCKED THREAD

I just found this after searching for 'answers.microsoft.com locked thread'.

I'm not sure what an 'Independent Advisor' is, but if you're in connection with Microsoft, or at least this forum's maintainers please say to them that locking threads because of inactivity doesn't help at all. I've just found a solution for a thread's problem,
but it's of course locked, and I can't even message it's author.. this way, and that usually most of the answers are not helpful at all, this forum doesn't really valuable, because most of the questions doesn't receive an answer, and then they get locked so
it's impossible to ever receive an answer on them..
