    "An error has occured" trying to run Microsoft Wordament in Microsoft Teams


    Hi,When trying to use Games for Work in Microsoft Team, some games are displaying an error message. For instance when trying to start Microsoft Wordament following error message is displayed on screen "An error has occurred".Other team worker are able to start the game without an issue. The error is displayed both on the phone and on the PC when using Wordament in Microsoft TeamsMicrosoft Wordament is working fine when not used through Microsoft Teams.Windows OS Buid is 22623.1037Any help welcome.Thank you.

    Greetings.



    Thank you for raising your concern in this community.



    Normally when you get this error, you should confirm first using teams on the web to see if there is nothing wrong with your account. Please use this link to do so. Checking your credentials..., also check your network connection.

    After confirming that everything is fine from there, I would suggest you to clear your teams cache using this steps.

    • Log out of teams
    • Quit Microsoft Teams. Right-click the icon and select Quit.
    • Cut and paste the following location into File Explorer: %appdata%\Microsoft\Teams
    • Delete the contents of the entire folder.
    • Restart Microsoft Team
    • Login again.

    After that sign in first using your education account.
