    How to fix the bcdedit error "an error occurred while attmpting to delete the specified data element"

    in trying to update windows on the ASUS Tranformer, i get the error that tells me Windows cannot create a RAMDISK. So, i try using bcdedit and then i get an error message "bcdedit error "an error occurred while attempting to delete the specified data element".

    I cannot seem to get any guidance on how to fix the error, so i am stuck.

    Help.

    Can't get out of safe mode.

    This comes up with an error saying "An error occurred while attempting to delete the specified data element. Element not found."
