Windows 10: An extension or program that automatically saves Microsoft Edge bookmarks

An extension or program that automatically saves Microsoft Edge bookmarks to the hard drive backup ? I found one extension, but it was not possible to specify where to save the bookmark

How can I provide a screenshot for something that does not work?

I install an extension, and it is not in the Extension list - in fact nothing is.

I tried to click on Favorites Star icon and save on Bookmark toolbar, and it does not save.

Microsoft evidently has a fixed list of allowable extensions, and Roboform is not one of them.

Problem solved: I won't use Edge.

After 25 years, I am turning into a Microsoft hater. The install of Anniversary Edition was a nightmare, and then i find Edge won't accept my extension anyway.
