    Unknown Device on ATI X800XL after 6.4 driver update

    Hi forum,
    I just updated my X800XL driver, (to cat 6.4) from the ATI driver site. After restart Win XP hardware wizard poped up with an unknown device, no driver found. I went to the device manager, and in the unknown divice properties, located on Redeon X800 series. Anyone got any idea what this might be?

    I flashed the BIOS on my X800 GTO2 last night and it is listed in the Device Manager as an Unknown Device. Is this normal?

    I uninstalled 6.4: back to 6.3, works OK. The unknown divice thing did not bug me, just wondered if anyone know what the device was? 3Dmark03 score 8814 at 1280X768 at 32 bit color depth, on Aquos 26" widescreen LCD TV,DVI input.
