Windows 10: An Urgent security message appeared after clicking a photo on Facebook

My wife clicked on a photo on FB and a page opened warning to call Microsoft Support at 1-888-452-2607 because the computer has been infected with a Trojan that will take over her computer if she tries to shut down. An audio message kept playing over and over again, telling you to call that number. We believe its a scam but wanted to verify this with you please see screenshot.We shut the browser down and ran two scans with Microsoft Defender our only protection - i.e. we have no third party antivirus. We ran a Quick Scan and the Offline Scan. The Quick Scan reported all is well. The

Facebook photo albums not appearing

I am also having this issue. My Facebook photos disappeared yesterday. This happened right after I changed the sync options on my primary hotmail account from every 30 minutes to hourly. I can't help but think this is related. Also, some of my Facebook contact
photos disappeared from my contacts list (but not all of them) and my ME disappeared, too, from the start page of the phone. All of my contacts became unlinked and many of them appeared several times as they had when first downloaded. The contact photos seemed
to be "hidden" in that if I touched the name of the person and then the little chain, the option to link the Facebook contact appeared and by re-connecting it to the name the picture then re-appeared. It was all very strange. I was able to fix all of the contacts
but I can't make the Facebook photo albums re-appear no matter what I do. I've tried all of the suggestions above.

 

Facebook photo albums not appearing

I have enabled facebook on my WP7 (samsung focus) but for some reason I am unable to have my photos appear in my pictures hub



I have my fb albums privacy set to friends only. I have even set some to public just to see if that was the problem with no success. Some of my friends photos appear in the pictures hub under new but my photos do not appear anywhere including:

• all
• date
• favorites

Does anyone know if there is a setting I could adjust to get the photos to appear in th picture hub.

 

Facebook App photo upload error

Same problem for me - N97mini, Elisa, Finland. Photo uploading worked few times, and then stopped.



But I found a workaround for this. Not as handy as using Facebook widget directly, but a working method anyway, while waiting the real problem to be fixed. You can send the photos from phone's photo folder to your Facebook account by email.

You can use your personalized upload email address to email a photo/video from your computer or mobile phone. The uploaded content will then appear in your Mobile Uploads album.

To see what your personalized upload email is, please take the following steps:

• Select "Upload a Photo."
• Click the "upload via email" link.

A dialog box will appear with your personalized upload email and further information about using this feature. Be sure to save your upload email address as a contact for easy access.
