Windows 10: Android Cell Phone Using Color Notes and Its' LOCK Command Proper Instructions

On my Android Cell Phone, in the Color Note App, there is a "Lock" command, I believe to allow password protection of a particular file. However, when I am in the file and pick "LOCK", it ask me to "Enter Master Password"? When I do generate a random PW, it continues to request me putting a Master Password with no instructions or directions.. I would thank anyone in advance who can provide some insight on this please! Need a cheap android phone

Hey gang, I placed my Mother in law on our phone plan so she will have access to a cell phone. She currently buys those pay as you go deals.

So I'm going to pay for her to have a phone and be on an unlimited plan as a gift for Christmas.

I'm in need of a very cheap android phone. She is 80+ years old and doesn't need anything fancy but she will want to keep up with facebook, text messages, email and maybe a couple of apps. The phone doesn't have to be anything special but I want at least 8GB of on-board memory, a dual or quad core cpu with a minimum of 1gb ram running android. It has to be unlocked GSM so I can add in a sim card. I would prefer something that can do 4G LTE.

I've been all over the web and I have found a lot of phones from unknown china companies and I just don't know what to pick. I'm trying to keep the phone cost under $100 per my Wife's instructions.

Pretty straightforward, plug in the phone run -a for device list then there's another command for recovery to another drive -adb backup iirc...

USB debugging doesn't need to be enabled on the phone.

 

Blocking Cell Phone Numbers

Here's one way to get around the problem. It's kludgy but it should work.

Get a VOIP based phone service or a magic jack. For 24/7 access, you're better off with VOIP that uses an ethernet adapter, but that's up to the user.

The important point is to find one that lets you create your own "black list" of callers. Usually they will have both black and white list options and these are usually a subcategory under the "do not disturb" or similar feature.

The provider will usually let you create a second number for $5-10 per month. You'll use this for your cell phone number. If it is ever compromised, you can change it easily without affecting the base number.

Forward the second number to your cell phone and give everyone that one as your "cell phone" number. There will be a delay of a few seconds as calls get routed, but who cares. It's not like any of us is on Obama's speed dial right?

Now when you get assholes calling you, just add them to the black list.

You can also block calls w/o caller id this way if your cell phone co. doesn't already do that for you.
