    Android RD Client by Microsoft Chrome book Issue


    Microsoft Remote Desktop Protocol RDP, which I have been using for several years. As an independent security researcher, I rely heavily on the RDP to access Windows machines remotely and conduct various security tests. Recently, I purchased a Chromebook and installed the official RDP client from Microsoft to continue my work.However, I have been facing some challenges with the RDP client on my Chromebook. Specifically, the Windows shortcuts related to Windows keys do not work, and the ALT + TAB combination is not functioning as expected. These issues have been causing some inconvenience, and

    Thank you for your response, Shawn. I guess I'm expecting the RD server to recognize the textbox and send the appropriate command to the client to pop the keyboard. The server knows that it's connected to an android client. The android OS knows whether or not to display an on-screen keyboard depending on the presence of a physical keyboard. It seems like very simple logic, to the point I having a hard time believing it doesn't already exist.

    RD Server: Hey! I'm in a textbox. Send OSK command to client.

    RD Client: Hey android, I need a keyboard here.

    Android OS: Ok. here you go - or - I see you have a physical keyboard, so no.

    Android RD Client does not invoke on-screen keyboard.

    We are using RD Client workspaces on Android tablets. When we enter a field with text entry, the on-screen keyboard on the tablet does not automatically open as it does on every other application run on the tablet. Is this under the control of the RD Client app, or a server-side setting?

    Using Gamepad with RD Client for Android

    I recently started to use RD Client to access my Windows PC remotely by my Android and ita doing quite well but I waa trying to play Assassins Creed Origins but due to no keyboard I wasnt
    able to control the movements of Character.. If i connect Xbox Game controller to my Phone will it work? or I will have to connect it to my PC and then play on phone by RD Client

    I am Currently using windows 10 and my phone supports OTG USB too
