    Android RD Client refuses to connect to PC.


    I've been pulling my hair out over this for 3 hours and I can't find any solution anywhere. Here's the gist: I need to connect to my PC via the Android RD App. I need it to connect over a different network, but I was currently testing on the same network.


    At first, I tried connecting to it without setting up a gateway. App tells me that it can't connect with error code 0x204. Then I tried using 192.168.x.x:443 as the gateway, and then it tells me that I can't connect because the RD Gateway server is unavailable with error code 0x3000062. I've ensured that my PC has 'allow remote connections' is enabled and checked every single setting available. Please please PLEASE help me!





    Relevant info:

    PC I'm trying to connect to: Dell Inspiron w/ Windows 10 Pro OC Build 18362.778 connected to WiFi

    Device I'm trying to use to connect: Galaxy Tab A 10.1 with LineageOS installed, connected to WiFi

    Router if it matters, idk: Netgear

    I recently started to use RD Client to access my Windows PC remotely by my Android and ita doing quite well but I waa trying to play Assassins Creed Origins but due to no keyboard I wasnt
    able to control the movements of Character.. If i connect Xbox Game controller to my Phone will it work? or I will have to connect it to my PC and then play on phone by RD Client

    I am Currently using windows 10 and my phone supports OTG USB too

    Hello I am an independent advisor for the Microsoft community. I did not find the "Android RD App" when searching the Google Play store. Are you using the official Microsoft Remote Desktop app? If not please provide a link to the app you are referencing.
