Windows 10: Android Remote Desktop Client IP Address Syntax - Windows 10

Hi Team! I can connect to my PC on my loacal network via the Android remote desktop app, but I am having trouble when I am on the cellular network for my phone. I got thr ip address for my Windows 10 Pro PC and a remote port number via www.myip.com. What syntax should I use to enter this information in the Androi d remote desktop app?

How do I connect to a remote desktop using an IP address only?

I've connected to this IP using Windows 7. I'm on a new machine running Windows 10, and I don't see an option to enter an IP address -- only a URL or email address. In Remote Desktop Connections, I enter the IP and I receive an error that requests a URL
or email address. I don't have easy access to the remote desktop (it's a client's); I'd rather first try to trouble shoot by figuring out how I can enter an IP address.

I suggest you to refer the below steps and see if this helps.

• 
  Enable remote desktop in settings
  
  • Control Panel\System and Security\System, Click "Remote Settings" on the left side
• 
  Verify my port forwarding settings were properly forwarding to my computers local IP address
  
  • run "cmd.exe" and then type "ipconfig". Find your IP from that list

• Make sure your firewall settings are open
• Go to "Control Panel\System and Security\Windows Firewall\Allowed apps"

• On the left, click "Allow an app or feature through Windows Firewall"
• Click "Change Settings"
• Find "Remote Desktop" in the list and make sure both "Private" and "Public" is checked.
