Windows 10: androsa file protector locked

androsa file protector --old program, yes... but worked flawlessly until
i recently completely uninstalled an unrelated software. now, there's
no getting past the initial message:

"available file of a language has not been found!
this problem can be
caused by the wrong path
where the files are contained. the actual path stored is:
'C:\Program Files\AndrosaFileProtector\'
Do you want to insert another path?"

--don't kno what this program is looking for or where
to look.... path?? files? what to do? --have encrypted files
i cant get to. help. --have uninstalled, re-installed twice.
no different effect. program wants its language file....

androsaSoft.net cant be contacted; it must hav met
its demise long ago... and i just happened to see a
recent tenForums post re: the same software. perhaps
theForums' Dalchina can provide some guidance on
this unusual snag....

do you have a screen protector fitted?

Chances are it's covering the proximity sensor next to the camera.

When you answer the phone, it thinks it's it up against your face and locks the screen.



Try removing the protector if so and see if that sorts the problem

I think I just figured it out! I had a screen protector on the phone..It was on the first one I had as well.

I just decided to take it off and clean the screen. I made a call to my voicemail to see if that fixed the problem, but it still wouldn't lock. So then I just left the screen protector off and I turned the phone off and back on and now the sensor is working!
I called my voicemail and the screen locked everytime I put the phone up to my ear.

So maybe the screen protector was just killing the sensitivity of the proximity sensor.
