    Anniversary UG deleted Laptop Fre Fall app


    My Dell Vostro laptop decided to install the 1607 upgrade. After that I found that the ST Micro Free Fall protection application in Control Panel was empty. I had to download it from the Dell site and re-install it. Has anyone else come across this?

    How Do I Restore a Windows 10 Windows.old?

    I actually downgraded from Falls Creator's Update, but when I do, the Anniversary update OS is broken, so I have to reinstall windows from a disc and it's more outdated than my Anniversary OS before it broke, and I just want my apps back T-T

    And also, may I know how can I copy windows.old into my external disk so I know it won't be deleted with all my apps in it?

    Windows 10 update knocked out Bluetooth, worked before last update

    I have a similar problem, but after win10 ug, no BT device to be found in Device Manager when it was there before the ug.

    I have the ST Micro Free Fall sensor in my Dell laptop and it has never been recognised in Device Manager following my upgrade to Windows 10. It just appears as an Unknown Device. I just disabled it since I have an SSD and don't need it.

    After your post, I just ran the Dell installer again for the device which ran OK and it now shows up in Device Manager under System Devices - see screenshot. Perhaps the AU has fixed something? I suggest you reinstall and look there for it.
