Windows 10: Anniversary update error 0xC1900101 - 0x3000D

I tried installing the Anniversary update using the Media Creation tool and I get this error when I log back in after the setup reverted my installation:

0xC1900101-0x3000D
The installation failed in the FIRST_BOOT phase with an error during MIGRATE_DATA operation

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I have been trying for weeks to upgrade to the Anniversary update to no avail. The Windows 10 Anniversary update hangs on 71% with Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library error.

I have tried all the 'fixes' that I have found out on the internet but none seem to help. I was hoping there was a logfile to tell me what is stopping it.

What is it doing at 71% that cause the upgrade to stop and roll back? (It rolls back successfully).

Errors after rollback are: 0xC1900101 - 0x3000D
