    Can't play dvd's on windows 10

This is not a replacement for the "regular" VLC player--it's
    a beta Windows 10 "universal
" app. The standard application will remain available.

Secunia PSI says net framework 2.0 is end of life. How do I upgrade it?

    Hi,

The problem with this and Windows 8-10 is that .Net 2.0 is included with .Net 3.0 and 3.5...

One of the first things I have had to do when installing any of the Win 8 and later OS's is to check the box for .Net 3.5... This also seems to be a fairly common need for others on the forum..

So... if .Net 2.0 is supposedly included with .Net 4.0, the programs that need it don't seem to be able to find the files...

I personally have a printer and a couple of monitoring tools that simply will not install\function without the .Net 2.0..

At the very least, there needs to be enough of .Net 2.0 left on the machine to redirect to the proper location of the files in the later versions... Hard to say what Microsoft may do with that...
