    Maybe you "messed" with privacy settings on Insider Build 10240. That's probably why you are still there now.

    Installed it. The upgrade process seems to be faster now, about 11 minutes.

    I would do a clean install of 10240 then start it from there again!

    Well, I would have hoped you made a backup of the OS before you "fixed" those security settings. Did you?? If not do a clean install and don't try to "fix" the security settings again.
