    OK, OK, you convinced me. *Smile I have an unused 240 GB SSD that I've been thinking seriously about putting into this computer; however, haven't done it yet. It took almost two hours for the update/upgrade to install on this comparatively new (2014) computer, so 27 minutes does sound good.

    For the most part, I haven't had any problems either. My Start Screen stayed at the same number I'd "pared" it down to. *Smile

    Of course, Microsoft took out my default Firefox and replaced it with Edge. Gonna have to remedy that, but first, I guess I'll let it stay for a bit, just to see if any improvements have been made.

    I'm going to do a clean install in a couple or three days. I think I'll take the hard drive to the bare bones, recreate my dual boot system and then reinstall 10240 on one partition and 10547 on the second one.

    I think a new partition is added every time I clean install, and I'm not sure that's how it should be.

    A fibre (fiber for most here!) Internet connection also helps, Wyn!

    Yep, definitely use that SSD. No use wasting it. Make sure it is using AHCI and not IDE, though. Makes a big difference on SSDs.
