One more thing. Reboot is the cure or the cause of them.

from start of download to install and reboot took about 1hr fastest update so far
    touch pad not scrolling again
lost the sound and did 2 more reboots before it started working
said needed to do a disc scan as there were problems but found none.
edge crashed when I had 2 pages open and closed one, so tried again and no problems. scroll bar working alright
    had to reset recovery.
    Firefox is working alright

  5. The VM instance of 14352 is downloading now. This is by far the best upgrade process since the Insider program started.

Question. Does anybody know if I can test the Windows 10 Enterprise conversion using the evaluation key? I don't think I can actually justify buying an Enterprise key but I'd like to see if there is any value added. Guess I can try it in the VM now but I'm always interested in others experience!

I don't think there's a harm trying. If it's not gonna work, it will just won't work. You'll stay with the Pro key.

I didn't notice this notification in Store before (number of apps for update). It is like waiting list.

Of course, after download started Store crashed... (but finish updates somehow).

I've lost the use of my DVD drive. It is unrecognized in File Explorer and doesn't work period. Had same happen a few builds back and had to wait for the next new build to fix. Have tried all the Device Manager tricks and the Registry tweaks and the Troubleshooter Wizards to no avail.

At the risk of repeating something you already tried....................

Right click at Start button > select Command Prompt (Admin) > at the flashing prompt, copy/paste this line..........
    reg.exe add "HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\atapi\Controller0" /f /v EnumDevice1 /t REG_DWORD /d 0x00000001

    > Enter > type Exit.
    Restart computer.

Thanks, David. Yes, I had done that registry tweak manually and didn't help. I just tried it again with your reference and still no joy in Mudville.

I inadventenly rebooted my Windows 10 host while the Windows 10 VM had not completed the upgrade to 14352. Thought the VM was trashed - but not at all. Windows 10 smoothly reverted to the earlier build. Ran scan and repair drive. Reboot. Flawless repair. Restarted the upgrade process - completed without any errors. Good work MS *Smile

Just got around to upgrading both of my test machines. Desktop came through like a champ, but my Dell Venue Pro 11 7130 lost its network adapter once again, and I had to reinstall the Intel Chipset driver stuff from Dell too. Also just saw that on both test machines, Intel RST is not working on either of them. The Venue Pro 11 issues were solved with driver (re)installs, but I've not yet tried to uninstall/reinstall Rapid Storage stuff yet on those machines. Anybody else see anything like this?
Otherwise, looks pretty good. Post install cleanup dropped about 20.2 GB on each test machine, too.
